Are You Thinking About Adopting Esther?
If you are interested in adopting Esther, CACC staff may be able to answer questions about (her/her) routines, activity level, and adjustment after leaving the shelter environment.
Some visitors spend time walking and playing with the dog during interaction while others focus more on calmer companionship and direct attention. Outdoor play areas, toys, treats, and tennis balls may sometimes be part of the visit depending on the dog's personality that day.
People considering adoption often ask about helping dogs settle into routines after leaving the shelter and allowing adjustment periods to happen naturally over time.
For people interested in helping Esther outside the shelter while waiting for a permanent home, fostering may also be an option through a rescue organization connected with CACC.
