Meet Poppy the Cane Corso 🐾

If you are interested in adopting Poppy, visiting CACC may give you an opportunity to learn more about (her/her) personality, activity level, and behavior during direct interaction.

Some dogs become playful quickly during visits while others stay calmer and more focused on the people spending time with them. Outdoor walks, toys, tennis balls, and treats may sometimes be included depending on the dog's comfort level that day.

People preparing for adoption sometimes ask questions about helping dogs adjust after leaving the shelter and allowing routines to develop gradually at home. Existing pets and family routines may also become part of those conversations.

People who are not ready to adopt permanently may also consider fostering Poppy through a rescue partner connected with CACC.
