Adopt Israfel the American Pit Bull Terrier 🐾

To bring Israfel home, visitors can start by speaking with staff or volunteers at CACC about availability, medical status, and what remaining steps may still need to happen before pickup becomes possible.

Some interactions happen outdoors while others happen inside quieter rooms depending on shelter conditions and staffing that day. Visitors may spend time walking with him, sitting nearby, or allowing him time to explore during direct interaction.

People preparing for adoption may want to think ahead about crate setup, food and water placement, sleeping arrangements, and how introductions with existing pets may be handled at home.

For many adopters, preparing the household ahead of time helps make the transition feel less stressful once the dog finally arrives home.
