Are You Thinking About Adopting Falafel?
If you are considering adopting Falafel, spending time together at CACC may help you better understand how he responds during walks, play, and quieter moments of interaction. Some dogs immediately become playful while others take a little more time before relaxing around new people.
Outdoor interaction may include walks, toys, tennis balls, treats, or time spent together in enclosed areas depending on shelter conditions and the dog's comfort level that day. Indoor interaction rooms may also be available during poor weather or busier shelter activity.
People with existing pets at home sometimes ask staff about helping introductions happen gradually after adoption. Families may also choose to visit together so everyone has an opportunity to interact with Falafel directly.
The first few days after adoption often involve patience, consistency, and allowing the dog time to settle into unfamiliar surroundings. Some dogs adjust quickly while others need more gradual transition periods before routines begin feeling comfortable.
For many adopters, bringing Falafel home becomes easier to picture after spending direct time together during a visit.
