Helping Pancho leave the shelter could begin with visiting CACC and asking whether he is available for interaction that day.
Some visitors spend the interaction walking with him while others focus more on calm one on one attention during the visit. Some dogs remain highly social throughout interaction time while others settle in more gradually.
Volunteers can answer questions about adoption procedures, foster placement support, surgery recovery expectations, and what the pickup process may look like once Pancho is medically cleared to leave the shelter.
People preparing for adoption sometimes begin gathering supplies ahead of time, including leashes, food bowls, bedding, crates, or baby gates to help make the first few days at home feel more manageable.
