BARK: Walk for Chicago’s Animals
Each spring, animal lovers and their dogs come together for BARK: Walk for Chicago’s Animals, Anti-Cruelty’s long-running outdoor fundraiser. The event combines a dog-friendly walk with a community celebration, giving participants a lively way to raise money for animals receiving shelter, medical care and other support through Anti-Cruelty.
BARK is designed for people who want to do more than attend with their own dogs. Individual walkers and teams raise funds before the event, helping turn a morning in the park into direct support for animals across Chicago. Families, rescue supporters and people remembering or celebrating a beloved pet can all participate.
BARK 2026 Has Concluded
The 32nd annual BARK took place on May 30, 2026 at Lincoln Park Grove 2. Participants completed a two-mile dog-friendly charity walk before gathering for a community party in the park.

A Chicago Walk Centered on Helping Animals
