Some visitors spend the interaction walking with them while others use toys or treats during the visit. Spending time together in person often creates a much clearer understanding of how they behaves once things become calmer and less crowded than the kennel area.

Volunteers can answer questions about adoption, fostering, rescue partner programs, and surgery scheduling during the visit. Rescue organizations may also explain how foster placements work and what support may be available for approved fosters.
