Visitors may spend time walking with her, relaxing together during direct interaction, or observing how she reacts throughout the visit.
People preparing for adoption sometimes discuss schedules ahead of time so someone can remain home more frequently during the dog's first several days adjusting to unfamiliar surroundings after leaving the shelter.
