Some rescues are able to move quickly once qualified foster homes become available, especially for dogs needing additional recovery space or temporary decompression outside the shelter.

Interaction opportunities may happen outdoors or inside quieter rooms depending on conditions that day. Visitors may spend time walking with them, observing their reactions during direct attention, or simply getting comfortable together during the visit.

Fostering can also help people decide whether long term adoption may eventually feel realistic without requiring an immediate permanent commitment on the first day.
