Adopt Armita the Cane Corso 🐾

If Armita feels like she could be the right dog for your home, meeting her in person can help you better understand how she responds during one on one interaction outside the busiest shelter areas. Some interactions at Chicago Animal Care and Control happen in smaller enclosed spaces before moving into larger yards where dogs have additional room to explore and exercise.

Volunteers are usually available during visits to answer questions about adoption timing, fostering options, and rescue partner placements. Rescue organizations may also be able to place holds while foster applications move through the approval process.

If surgery is still pending before adoption can be completed, Armita will need time to recover afterward before going home. Recovery timelines may vary depending on medical scheduling and post procedure care.
