I have been waiting for someone to save me at Chicago Animal Care and Control since April 16. Are You Thinking About Adopting Frankie?

To adopt Frankie, begin by visiting Chicago Animal Care and Control and asking staff or volunteers about arranging a meet and greet interaction. Spending time together in person usually provides much more clarity than reading short written summaries online.

Depending on weather conditions and shelter activity, interactions may happen outdoors in enclosed areas or inside quieter rooms. Some visitors spend the interaction walking with him while others simply observe how he reacts during direct attention and conversation.

Volunteers can explain adoption timing, fostering options, rescue partner involvement, and what remaining medical procedures may still need to happen before Frankie is ready to go home. If surgery is still pending, additional recovery time afterward may affect pickup timing.

Some visitors decide very quickly after the interaction while others prefer returning for another visit before making a final decision. Either approach is common when considering adoption.
