Are You Thinking About Adopting Snorkel?

If you are interested in adopting Snorkel, visiting Chicago Animal Care and Control in person can help you better understand how he responds during one on one interaction outside the kennel environment. Some visits begin in smaller enclosed spaces before moving into larger outdoor yards where dogs have more room to explore and exercise.

Some adopters spend time walking with him while others use treats or toys during the interaction. Watching him settle into a calmer environment often gives visitors a much clearer understanding of what life together at home could potentially look like.

Volunteers can explain adoption procedures, fostering options, and any remaining medical steps that may still need to be completed before he is ready to go home. If surgery is still pending, Snorkel may need additional recovery time before pickup becomes available.

Some visitors begin considering fostering after learning more about rescue partner placements during the interaction. Rescue organizations may also provide supplies, veterinary care, and support throughout foster placement.
