Are You Thinking About Adopting This dog?

To meet Unknown, ask staff or volunteers at Chicago Animal Care and Control about available meet and greet visits. Some interactions begin in smaller enclosed spaces before moving into larger yards where dogs have more room to move around and explore.

Some visitors arrive planning to adopt while others want to learn more about fostering first. Volunteers can explain both options and may help connect interested fosters with rescue organizations that provide supplies, veterinary care, and placement support during foster care.

Spending time together outside the kennel environment often gives people a better understanding of how he responds in calmer surroundings. Some adopters decide quickly after the interaction while others return for additional visits before making a decision.
