Rescued from a hoarding case in Southern Illinois, Eleanor is understandably frightened by the big changes in her life, but beneath her timid exterior is a sweet dog who wants so badly to trust and be loved. With patience, kindness, and a calm environment, she is beginning to realize that gentle hands, kind words, and a cozy bed can be part of her everyday life. Every small step she takes is a victory, and watching her confidence grow is incredibly rewarding. Eleanor is looking for a compassionate family willing to let her move at her own pace and show her that she will never have to be afraid again.
