Are You Thinking About Adopting Rubar?

If you are interested in fostering Rubar, volunteers at Chicago Animal Care and Control can explain how rescue partner placements work and what the approval process may involve. Some rescue organizations are able to place holds while foster applications are being reviewed.

Meet and greet visits may happen outdoors in enclosed interaction yards or inside quieter rooms depending on shelter activity and weather conditions. Some visitors spend the interaction walking with him while others use toys or treats during one on one interaction outside the kennel environment.

Foster homes often provide dogs additional time to decompress, settle into routines, and adjust to quieter surroundings outside the shelter. Rescue organizations may also provide veterinary support, food, crates, and placement guidance during foster placement.

Some foster placements eventually become permanent adoptions while others remain temporary placements while the rescue continues searching for the right long term home. Spending time together during the interaction often helps visitors decide which path feels like the better fit.
