Are You Thinking About Adopting Ladii?

To bring Ladii home, speak with staff or volunteers at Chicago Animal Care and Control about the adoption process and any remaining medical procedures that may still need to be completed. Some dogs are ready to leave sooner while others require surgery followed by recovery time before pickup becomes available.

Meet and greet visits may happen outdoors in enclosed interaction spaces or inside quieter rooms depending on the day. Some visitors spend the interaction walking with him while others use toys or treats during one on one interaction.

Spending time together outside the kennel environment often provides adopters with a much clearer understanding of how he behaves in calmer surroundings. Some visitors begin imagining what life together at home could potentially look like after seeing how he responds during the interaction.

Volunteers can also explain fostering options for visitors interested in helping him leave the shelter through rescue placement first. Rescue organizations may provide supplies, veterinary support, and guidance during foster placement.
