Are You Thinking About Adopting Faith?

To foster Faith through a rescue partner, visitors can speak with volunteers about organizations that may be able to place a hold while foster applications are being reviewed. Approval timelines may vary depending on the rescue involved and available foster space.

During the meet and greet interaction, visitors may spend time walking with him, using treats or toys, or simply relaxing together outside the kennel environment. Some dogs become more playful once they have room to move around while others seem calmer during one on one interaction away from the busiest shelter areas.

Foster homes often provide dogs additional time to decompress, settle into routines, and adjust to home environments outside the shelter. Rescue organizations may also provide veterinary support, supplies, food, and placement guidance throughout foster placement.

Some foster placements eventually become permanent adoptions while others remain temporary placements until the dog is adopted. Spending additional time together outside the shelter often helps visitors decide which option feels like the better fit.
